Jody and Joe King decided to start King’s Dental Arts almost 30 years ago because they wanted to do things differently compared to the big corporate dental labs. Their main goal was to work one-on-one with each dentist and have stronger relationships with their clients so they could deliver even better work. Running their own lab also gives them the freedom to use the highest quality materials and techniques, allowing them to take pride in everything they produce.
Joe King,
Founder & Owner
Joe is a certified dental lab tech with 40 years of experience, and he started King’s Dental Arts with his wife, Jody, almost 30 years ago. As a technician and business owner, he deeply enjoys that his job allows him to be creative and work independently to produce world-class units while forming great relationships with each dentist. He received his initial training at the Naval School of Dental Assisting & Technology, and over the decades, he has taken several courses through prestigious institutions, including the Pankey Institute, Dawson Academy (functional occlusion), Nobel Biocare (implantology techniques), and SPEAR Study Club.
Originally from Lawrence, KS, Joe and Jody have four boys, and in his free time, he likes to ride bikes, go kayaking, and race motorcycles (dirt bikes).
